Replicator 2X, or did you switch filament colors part way through?

I printed the pieces up separately then assembled.

Nice to see it in action! My school had a 3D printer, but I only managed to print a couple custom LEGO pieces before someone else destroyed the thing by accident. The Engineering department is too underfunded to fix it, unfortunately.

Thats too bad, engineering badly needs more funding in education. Between 14-16 I did an engineering course which required me to go to two different schools, my normal school and for half the week another across town since my school had no engineering facilities at all.

Awesome! That kicks ass! :D
The local library where I used to work (can’t now, government changed the grant regulations so nobody can be hired under that grant more than once now....argh...) has four 3D Printers - a Makerbot Replicator 2, a CubeX Duo (terrible, NEVER buy one), and two PrinterBot Simple Metals.
I didn’t make an Oppo logo, but I 3D Modelled some replacement wheel center caps in SketchUp and printed them....my DD is an ‘09 Accent hatch and I had bought some cheap ($50) ‘98 Ford Escort alloys for my summer tires. Got tired of the Ford logo center caps, so decided to see if I could make something better! :) The rims aren’t in the best shape, but they fit “Humdrum” fine and they don’t look too bad on the car, considering. The center caps have worked great so far - had to resize and test print a few times to get them to fit and I’ve lost two as a result of not-so-perfect fits on my first tries, but 3 on my car at the moment fit perfectly and I’ll be printing a replacement for the 4th one in the next few weeks! :D
Of the set I currently have, two are the translucent “neutral”, clear filament and match the rims very well because they just look silver when installed and the other two are orange and yellow for fun. I’ll probably print another two in the next week or two.
(Without caps installed)
